Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy outlines how orders placed with AL5 Sourdough are processed and delivered.

Sourdough Delivery

Bread orders are currently available for delivery within the AL5 postcode area only.

To receive your order on Saturday morning, orders must be placed before 12:00pm on Wednesday.

Orders placed after this time may be moved to the following week’s delivery.

For customers within the AL5 postcode area, local delivery is free on orders of £8 or more. Orders under £8 can either be collected for free or delivered locally for a £2 delivery fee.

All bread is baked fresh in small batches and delivered locally to help ensure the best possible quality and freshness on arrival.

Merch Orders

Merch orders placed outside of the AL5 postcode area are usually dispatched within 2 working days.

UK shipping options are as follows:

  • Standard: £4.99 on orders up to £50 (2 to 4 working days)
  • Standard: Free on orders of £50+ (2 to 4 working days)
  • Express: £6.99 (1 to 3 working days)

For customers within the AL5 postcode area, merch orders placed alongside bread orders may be delivered together on Saturday morning.

Delivery Times

Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. While we do our best to ensure orders arrive within the stated timescales, delays may occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our control.

Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing the correct delivery address at checkout. AL5 Sourdough cannot be held responsible for orders delayed, lost or delivered incorrectly due to inaccurate or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

Missed Deliveries and Safe Place Deliveries

If no one is available to receive a local delivery, your order may be left in a safe place where appropriate. By placing an order, you acknowledge that this may be necessary to complete delivery.

Delays

AL5 Sourdough is not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier delays, weather conditions, transport disruption or other unforeseen circumstances.
